Behind the Scenes: TOPPAN Ecquaria’s Global Culture Shoot

Our office was transformed into a professional film set as the team collaborated with TOPPAN Holdings and DENTSU Japan for a global brand campaign.

On Tuesday, 10 February, the TOPPAN Ecquaria office underwent a major transformation. For one day, our workspace became a professional film set. As part of TOPPAN Japan’s Global Purpose “Culture” Campaign, we had the pleasure of hosting Keiichi Sato (General Manager, Public Relations Div., TOPPAN Holdings Inc.) and Shingo Watanabe-san (Section Manager, PR Division, TOPPAN Japan) alongside a world-class production crew from DENTSU Japan.

A Morning of Precision and “Omotenashi”

The mission? To capture the heart of TOPPAN Ecquaria’s culture and leadership to share with the global TOPPAN community.

The day kicked off at 7:30 AM sharp. While most of us were just reaching for our first coffee, the Dentsu crew was already busy transforming the office with heavy-duty lighting and cinematic gear. From the meticulous setup in the Managing Director’s office to prepping the Great White meeting room for a collaborative segment with Ser Wah, the level of technical precision was fascinating to watch.

Our Marketing department was on hand throughout the day to ensure everything ran like clockwork, embodying the Omotenashi spirit by making our guests feel at home despite the high-pressure filming schedule.

The “Supporting Stars” of TECQ

A huge shoutout to everyone who dressed the part in our TOPPAN Ecquaria and KAIZEN t-shirts. As the cameras panned across the office to capture our vibrant working environment, many of you made the seamless transition from developers and analysts to “supporting stars” in the background!

Special kudos to everyone for the impromptu “Spring Cleaning” ahead of the shoot. The office looked absolutely pristine—a perfect head start for the upcoming Lunar New Year festivities.

From the Boardroom to the Pavement

The production didn’t stop at the office doors. Our very own “Running Squad”—Tikyi, Benson, Charlyn, and Siow Moon—represented the TOPPAN Ecquaria energy and company culture in motion. Clad in TOPPAN Ecquaria tees, they joined Ser Wah and Meng Khiang for outdoor segments that took the crew from the office to Jubilee Bridge and Merlion Park.

Even under the relentless Singapore sun, the team kept their energy high, proving that we’re just as fast on our feet as we are with our tech solutions!

Beyond the fancy cameras and microphones, this visit was a celebration of our Global-Local partnership. It provided a unique platform to showcase TOPPAN Ecquaria’s expertise and culture to the rest of the TOPPAN Group worldwide.

The professionalism of the TOPPAN Inc and DENTSU Japan crew was a true masterclass in storytelling. We are incredibly proud of how the entire team stepped up to facilitate such a high-profile production. We can’t wait to see the final cut!
